Choir Policies

Health and Safety

To ensure the health and safety of choir members during the COVID 19 pandemic, all members must be fully vaccinated to participate in rehearsals, retreats and concerts. Masks are available at rehearsal that are approved for use in choral activities.

IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS AS DEFINED BY ALBERTA HEALTH SERVICES IN THE PUBLISHED DAILY CHECKLIST, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, YOU MUST NOT ATTEND REHEARSAL. IF YOU ARRIVE TO REHEARSAL WITH ANY SYMPTOMS THAT APPEAR ON THIS CHECKLIST, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.

Payment

The fee to become a member of Te Deum Singers is $100 CAD per term. You may pay your fee by cash or cheque (made payable to Lendrum Mennonite Church with “Te Deum Singers registration” in the memo line).

Music

You must return your music folder with your sheet music after the final concert. Please mark your score in pencil only and do not use a hole punch.

Absence

Please make every effort to attend every rehearsal unless you are ill. Your presence is not only a benefit to you, but to others in your section. If you are unable to attend a rehearsal, please advise the director or administrative assistant as soon as you are able.

Allergies

As a courtesy to your fellow choir members who may be sensitive to certain scents, please do not wear perfume, scented hair sprays, aftershave, cologne, or scented hand lotions when you attend rehearsals or concerts.

General Courtesy

We all attend practice eager to work hard and have fun. However, if we can't hear the musical directives that our conductor gives us, it's easy to get frustrated. To help ensure that your fellow choristers are able to hear, please keep chatter volume low and to a minimum.
